Weekend Update: Sat-Sun 4/27-28

It's taken a while for us to get here, but Saturday is the day! Full-on sun for at least part of the day and warm temps means it is party time on the slopes. Not quite warm enough to break out the bikinis and thongs, but also not quite warm enough to make things extra sloppy. Things won't be sticky, but crayoning some wax onto your bases is never a bad call in the spring if for no other reason than to protect them. You'll want to bring your grill, some protein, and libations because spring skiing is at most only half about being on the snow and the other part about chilling with your friends and soaking up some sun. It's the best of both winter and spring all rolled up into one.

Sunday will be slightly warmer than Saturday, but there are some scattered showers and misting on the peaks of Vermont to contend with, and possibly some low ceilings, but in Maine things will remain glorious with a range of partly to mostly cloudy skies during the ski day.

We have 5 ski areas open this weekend in the Northeast plus Sommet Saint-Sauveur near Montreal in range. Here's the map of who is open this weekend.

I'm going to go over both Saturday and Sunday with cloud, temperature, and precipitation specifics for every open ski area in this update.
